What's Up With Marina Joyce?

So today I woke up to thousands of tweets about a British Youtuber, Marina Joyce. Now, I don't usually post about what's going on in other people's lives but I thought this was a serious topic and I felt the need to address it one way or another.

So basically there have been many suspicions that Marina Joyce is being abused by her boyfriend and that he took over her channel. Many of her videos suggest that she needs help and has given plenty of signs as well as whispering and coughing "help".

Besides the fact that she looks completely terrified in her recent videos and always looks to the side as if she's looking at someone, she has bruises on her arms, knees and back. She has tweeted encrypted tweets such as "Hi everyone, now in England the people Laugh with the Puppies" that suggest that she's trying to type "help." She also went live on YouNow where many of her fans asked her to do certain actions such as play with your hair or clap if you're not ok and she actually did that.

What really bothered me about all this is that a lot of people on Twitter were saying that she was faking all of this for views and attention. It really pissed me off that people were saying these things. Even though no one really knows what's going on and whether she really was faking it or not, you should never say things like that. What if she really is being abused and everyone online is just making fun of her? It's not right. As human beings we should be supporting her and if she was faking it then let it go.

So many women die from domestic abuse and a lot of people are just dismissing it. A lot of people were also saying that she has schizophrenia. This pissed me off as well because these people don't even have any knowledge about psychology and they were just making things up.

Even though now there is a story saying that she is schizophrenic and that she is not being abused, the truth is, no one really knows what's going on unless Marin Joyce herself comes out and says it. Then again if she does have schizophrenia she would probably deny it.

The point is, when we see or hear about someone in danger, why are we always so quick to judge and destroy? Why can't we just be supportive and loving? If we want to live in a better world we need to make it better as an individual. Seriously, we need to stop the hate!
